(10 verses, 2:10 to read)
What I am about to READ
- Esther hosts a feast to reveal Haman’s wicked plot, and Haman is executed.
MARK & LEARN
- In this chapter we finally see Haman’s wicked plot revealed. When the king goes into the garden to consider what to do, he returns to find Haman begging Queen Esther for his life, and Ahasuerus, seeing this, orders Haman hung on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai.
- This chapter continues the fairly straight-forward narrative of Esther, a book of great comfort.
- We see the Lord orchestrating the downfall of Haman and the protection of His people. This book is a reminder of the truth, “all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
